  1. Leadership at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital
    Introduction:

    I was given this assignment to solve the case study regarding leadership at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. The assignment had some question which were to be answered. The questions were about strategic leadership in GSAM. It was mentioned that the GSAM leadership enables its leaders to improve the quality of health care and focused on its patients. Its leadership aligns its organizational goals with the employee’s goals for guaranteed results. Moreover, the environment at GSAM leadership model follows Baldrige framework as it focuses on two key factors that is relationships and work environment.
    Reflection:
    The learning I got from this assignment is how great leaders are formed and what are their values which bring to top. I learned that valuing employee’s interest and relationship comes foremost for great leaders. My recommendation to anyone attempting this assignment would be to get in touch with someone from GSAM to get an insight to their leadership in action. It would let them get a better idea of how things are on ground and if I will do this assignment again then I will also try to present some current findings of GSAM.
  2. Prince William
    Introduction:
    I did this assignment in my leadership course, the assignment was to look into the leadership style and flaws of Prince William. This assignment highlighted political and social aspects of being a leader. Thorough study of Prince Williams’s behavior led me to deduce that he is a good leader at heart with intentions of facilitating the citizens through social work. However, his weakness as a leader lies in his short temperedness. He reacts volatilely to situations which is not expected of a royal politician.
    Reflection:
    In this assignment I learned how to observe and assess the behavior and actions of leaders through their actions. I learned how leaders cannot excel if they lack in any aspect of leadership strategy. It has been observed that each and every action of a leader is observed by his followers, thus a person has to be really careful while playing a role of a leader. If I will do this assignment again I will share more references to my assignment to define the leadership style of the Prince William. Students working on this assignment are advised to do find out the flaws of their chosen leader to get knowledge about the mistakes a leader must avoid.
