1. BMW Mini: A Brief History
   Introduction:
   We were assigned this case study on BMW as a group assignment. The assignment required us to come together and assess the issues faced by BMW while it acquired Rover under its brand name. Firstly, a brief introduction of the company was given and how and why they decided to invest in Rover. Then issues like financial drainage on BMW’s budget, economic, social and political challenges of operating in a different region and issues in BMW’s leadership were discussed. These issue were then linked with theoretical frameworks to draw logical conclusion. All this work was distributed in team and everyone did his part.
   Reflection:
   I learned from this assignment how to work in a group with diverse skills and mindset. Each one had a different opinion of looking at the case and we had to arrive at one congregate approach towards it. I got an opportunity through this assignment to work in such a complex project in team in which each part was linked with the other. Thus, we often had meetings to guide each other. My advice to other students would be to spend some time together with their group so that they would have a better team dynamics. It would enable them to put their best foot forward in limited time period and produce best quality work with team effort. Also, if I will do this assignment again then I will try to be lenient with my team members.
2. Fama/ French 3 Factor Model
   Introduction:
   We were given the assignment to discuss and analyze fama/ French 3 factor model for building an investment portfolio for a client. We started the report with giving a brief introduction about the investment, portfolios and associated risks. It is very important to know if the investor is risk taker or risk averse before suggesting a suitable investment portfolio. This assignment was done collectively with three team members on the basis of which it represents the teamwork competency.

Reflection:
The learning experience that I gained from this assignment included time management as a group. We all had different schedules and had to make time to come together and get the assignment done in the allotted time. Also, I learnt about dealing group mates with patience who don’t perform as per your expectations. I learnt how to teach them to raise their standard with good words and actions without pressurizing them. If I will do this assignment again then I will try to select team mates who are better in studies. I will suggest that other students should break the assignment into parts and assign them to each group member to get good quality work in small amount of time. Later they can meet and discuss to give it a final form by compiling and editing it.
